Community mentors engaging with boys on the field

About

Who we are

A community-based organization creating safe spaces for boys in Kisumu's informal settlements.

Our story

Born from hope, built for change

Founded by Rachael Owuor in Manyatta, Kisumu (2023), Parks Boychild Foundation was born from a deep desire to bring hope and guidance to boys in the slums. While many programs focused on girls, boys were often left behind — we created a safe space where they can learn, dream, and build a better future.

We are a Community-Based Organization (CBO) working with schools, families, and local leaders to provide mentorship, education support, and psychosocial guidance.
